First Peoples' Knowledge

Join us for a traditional weaving workshop at Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.

Use natural plant materials harvested on Country to create traditional jewellery or a basket in this natural weaving workshop. Learn the ancient coil weaving technique with instructors and take home the skills to start your weaving journey.

This workshop is suitable for beginners who have no previous experience in weaving with plant materials, as well as people who may have experimented with weaving but are seeking to develop their skills further. All materials are supplied.
