The Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria employs more than 240 people, many of whom are experts in their fields.
The scientists and horticultural staff are some of the most experienced in Australia and many are renowned internationally for their research and conservation work.
Our education and visitor services teams are dedicated to delivering the highest quality programs for schools, individuals and groups.
Our staff are supported by a vast network of volunteers who work across the Melbourne and Cranbounre locations providing assistance in a wide range of areas including visitor information, hosting guided tours and assisting in with conservation work in the Herbarium. We gratefully acknowledge all of the volunteers who dedicate their time to support the work of the Gardens.
