Cycads first appeared approximately 280 million years ago as some of the earliest seed plants. Despite this remarkable persistence, they are now among the planet’s most at-risk organisms. And Australia holds the highest diversity of cycad species!
Your donation will contribute to CYCAD 2026. The conference will highlight cutting-edge research and critical conservation efforts into this fascinating species. Global delegates will come together to share advancements in plant biology, genetics, conservation, horticulture and restoration.
Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible in Australia. Your donation will be contributed to CYCAD 2026 with 10% to support Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria processing costs.
Any remaining funds will help support desperately needed action towards the conservation of Australian Cycads.
