A Day of Discovery, Wellbeing and Nature Connections for Year 5-6 Victorian Catholic Education Students
Join us at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne for a full-day adventure, where students will slow down, tune in, and reconnect - with themselves, each other, and the natural world. Through hands-on outdoor experiences, students will explore resilience, mindfulness, and what inspires us to keep going in the face of challenges.
Program Highlights
Students will:
- Hear from a guest speaker who has drawn inspiration from nature to overcome challenges
- Strengthen their emotional literacy and resilience
- Learn mindfulness strategies through sensory activities
- Connect with the natural world
- Reflect on personal growth and goal-setting.
This immersive wellbeing program is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, with strong links to Health & Physical Education, Science, Ethical Capability, and Personal & Social Capability.
