Ecological Restoration

A significant ecological restoration is underway

Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria is currently working on a significant restoration of habitat and biodiversity at Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.

Over the coming months, our horticulturists, scientists and land management specialists will be undertaking critical groundwork to create a new thriving habitat for flora and fauna.

While the full details of the project remain under wraps for now, we look forward to sharing more soon.

This project is funded by the Australian Government’s Natural Heritage Trust under the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program, with the support of Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.
