Create art with plants and sunlight

Capture the beauty of nature with your very own cyanotype prints in this workshop with acclaimed artist Dianna Wells.

Recognisable for its distinctive blue colouring, cyanotype is one of the world’s oldest photographic printing processes. Collect fallen leaves, flowers and seeds from the Gardens, and create your own compositions to print and take home.

Dianna Wells is a photographic artist engaging with ideas about landscape, botany and experimental photographic processes. Growing native plants and working with botanic specimens are central to her practice. Dianna worked closely with Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria to create Walking within a grassy woodland as part of the Metro Tunnel Creative Program.

Presented by Metro Tunnel Creative Program in partnership with Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.
