Frank Udovicic

Frank's interests centre around the phylogenetic systematics of Australian plants, in particular members of the Myrtle family (Myrtaceae), such as eucalypts (Eucalyptus andCorymbia), bottlebrushes (Callistemon), paperbarks (Melaleuca) and related genera. He is also continuing research on Rhamnaceae, a cosmopolitan family that includes genera such as SpyridiumCryptandra and Pomaderris in Australia. Practical applications and limitations of DNA barcoding and molecular identification are another area of current interest.
