Our two gardens are closed until further notice
For the safety of visitors and staff and following advice from the Victorian Government regarding measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria has made the decision to close Melbourne Gardens and Cranbourne Gardens to all visitors until further notice.
While the physical gates will be closed to the public, our important work to safeguard plants for the wellbeing of people and the planet continues. Most of our team will work from home, with essential staff working onsite to maintain the Gardens in line with government guidelines.
Engage with the Gardens from the safety of your own home
The Gardens provide a place for Victorians to connect with nature and focus on their wellbeing. During this unusual time, and while the Gardens are closed, our staff will be developing new ways for you to engage with our beautiful Gardens from afar.
To discover new ways to stay connected with the Gardens, please visit rbg.vic.gov.au/virtualgarden for regular updates and to access links to activities.
We will keep you updated as more information becomes available and if you have any questions, please get in touch with us via email@example.com.
As always, we look forward to seeing you again, as we together support thriving communities in a flourishing planet. On the other side of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, our planet will still feel and be as beautiful and surprising as it was before.
In the meantime, keep safe.
