Nebula arrives at Cranbourne

View artworks by artists from Art Day South and Satellite Studios and enjoy tea ceremonies in Nebula, a new portable artspace by Arts Access Victoria, at Cranbourne Gardens this week.

The revolutionary and highly adaptable Nebula was created to cater for the needs of artists with disabilities and provide a way of showcasing their works. Depending on the artworks, the Nebula can be transformed into a gallery, workshop, seminar space or performing arts venue.

At Cranbourne Gardens, it will alternately act as an exhibition space and a tea house. From 8 – 11 April, Nebula will display a range of recent artworks by artists from Arts Access Victoria’s Art Day South and Satellite Studios.

During the Bush-food weekend (12 & 13 April), Nebula will be home to ritualistic tea ceremonies featuring teas made from Australian native plants. The short, intimate ceremonies have been designed and devised by the artists of Art Day South and utilise ceramics they have designed and created themselves.
