First Nations peoples have long lived in balance with nature. On this walking tour with Jakobi, Aboriginal Learning Facilitator, celebrate the First Peoples of Victoria and learn from the cultural knowledge and practices First Peoples have employed for thousands of years.

Become versed in Traditional land management and seasons, culturally important endangered species and more as you walk in solidarity to help protect and care for country.

Jakobi, a proud Djap Wurrung and Gunditjmara man, is an Aboriginal Learning Facilitator at the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, where he works to share his story with visitors and foster an understanding of his culture, people and the land. Jakobi is passionate about his culture and climate justice, while exploring the solutions First Nations cultures have developed to manage their lands and waters.
