Collected Walks by Tai Snaith

-

Public infrastructure construction meets public art in this beautiful large-scale work by Melbourne artist, Tai Snaith, produced especially for the hoardings around what will become the new ANZAC Station.

Created in response to the State Botanical Collection at the National Herbarium of Victoria, Tai’s work is inspired by the layers of memory created through the process of building collections over time. She uses an instinctive process of assemblage to collect and arrange pieces by colour, shape and form.

This collaboration between Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Metro Tunnel Creative Program has transformed the ANZAC Station construction site into a beautiful, Instagram-worthy art piece.

View these stunning works during your next stroll around the Botanic Gardens precinct.
