Come Yarn, Eat, Play
Join Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria for a unique bushfood playgroup experience, for Aboriginal bubups and their families, to learn about the health and cultural benefits of growing and eating bushfoods.
Children and their parents/carers will join in a range of bushfood-inspired play activities that encourage a better understanding (and taste!) of local bushfoods and will be given their own bushfood plants to add to their home garden.
This program is supported by IHAP New Directions program and includes FREE morning tea and a deadly bushfood inspired lunch at the Boon Wurrung Cafe.
Suitable for families with children aged 0-5.
Whilst undercover, this program will be outdoors at times so please wear clothing suitable for the forecast weather conditions.
