A botanical art exhibition.
The aim of The Acacia Project was to study and record a selection of the rare and endangered Acacias growing in Melbourne Gardens.
Twenty-three botanical artists, members of the famed Whirlies, participated in the project, with each completing an illustration of a species which they have since donated to State Botanical Collection in the RBGV National Herbarium of Victoria.
