Raising Rarity: Plant Sale and Walk on the Wild Side

Stock up on rare and threatened plants for your garden at the Raising Rarity Plant Sale, open for one day only at Cranbourne Gardens. All plants are only $10.

Learn more about the Raising Rarity program, which aims to raise awareness of rare and threatened Victorian wildflower species by giving people the opportunity to grow these at-risk species in their own backyards.

Whilst at the sale make a day of it with Walk on the Wild Side, a special guided walk, back by popular demand following its hit virtual outing during Victoria Nature Festival. Book early to learn from John Arnott, Manager Horticulture and Russell Larke, Team Leader Horticulture, about how Cranbourne Gardens grows and protects our threatened flora. Matthew Henderson, Horticulturist will show you plant conservation in action and Dr Meg Hirst, Victorian Conservation Seedbank, will demonstrate what you can do as a home gardener to grow and protect the rare and threatened plants you’ve picked up at the Raising Rarity Plant Sale.

Tickets to Walk on the Wilde Side are limited, get in quick.
