Support Us

The Royal Botanic Gardens is a very special place for people of all ages and must be nurtured for future generations. The Gardens is also an important scientific and educational institution which plays a critical role in preserving our landscape and plant heritage. Government funding meets many but not all of our basic operating costs, and we urgently need your support:

  • to build a secure financial base for the Gardens;
  • to undertake such work as maintaining and, where necessary, renewing the basic infrastructure of the Gardens in South Yarra (now over a hundred years old) and maintaining and developing the bushland and landscapes at Cranbourne; and
  • to fully fund important programs and initiatives.
