Seat Sponsorship

Seat Sponsorship offers a unique opportunity to commemorate a special event or remember a loved one while supporting the Royal Botanic Gardens. Some people wish to sponsor a seat to celebrate an event, such as a birth or wedding anniversary. Others choose the Seat Sponsorship Program as a way to pay tribute to a loved one who enjoyed spending time in our beautiful Gardens.

Part of your donation contributes to the cost of buying and maintaining seats for the Gardens. The remainder is invested in the Royal Botanic Gardens Foundation to ensure the conservation and development of the Gardens for the enjoyment of future generations.

Seat sponsorship costs $5,000 for ten years and is a fully tax-deductible donation. You can choose to sponsor a seat at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne or at the Australian Garden, Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne. Sponsored seats feature a commemorative plaque, which is yours to keep at the end of your sponsorship.

Seats are placed in a variety of locations within the Gardens. They are not fixed to the ground and are often moved around by visitors.

Sponsor a seat at the Australian Garden, Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne
