Generous financial support

The Royal Botanic Gardens sincerely thanks the businesses, community groups, individuals, trusts and foundations that generously supported its work in 2004–05.

This support has enabled the organisation to achieve a number of positive outcomes. Listed among these are: the development of new environmental education and visitor experiences; the completion of The Ian Potter Foundation Children’s Garden, now recognised by two major awards; continued progress with the creation of the innovative Australian Garden at RBG Cranbourne; continuing assistance with the preservation of the State Botanical Collection; continued support of the National Herbarium of Victoria’s scientific research and conservation programs; and building upon ARCUE’s growing body of research.

This list records donations to the Royal Botanic Gardens of $1,000 and over in the 2004–05 financial year. Donors are categorised according to donations received in this financial year and previous donations since 2000–01.
