Jan Woodman

Jan began to paint flowers in a botanical way in 1983, with encouragement and guidance from the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and Herbarium. Her paintings of wildflowers have been published by the Gardens and sold as posters and cards. In 2002 she was awarded an Honorary Life Membership of the Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide. Her works are included in the Adelaide and Melbourne State Botanic Art Collections and in private collections throughout Australia and overseas. Five solo exhibitions and exhibited in 'The Art of Botanical Illustration' 1996 - 2004. She is author/publisher of five wildflower embroidery books.
