Ruth Walter
Ruth studied music at the
University
of
Melbourne
and became a secondary schools music teacher. In 1999, she became a student at the Botanical Art School of Melbourne studying under Jenny Phillips and Fiona McKinnon. She has also attended master classes with Anne Marie Evans and Suzannah Blaxill. Ruth’s work is represented in the Government House Floralegium, the

Gallery
and in private collections and is reproduced in the National Trust diaries of 2003 and 2007. Ruth has exhibited in group exhibitions including The Art of Botanical Illustration, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, The
