Rachael studied Fine Art, majoring in Painting at RMIT. For some years her time was divided between teaching community art classes, English as a Second Language and literacy, and focusing on her own art practice. When she attended classes with Dianne Emery in 2002, she found a link between botanical subjects and the imaginative, organic surreal subjects that have been a large focal point of her work. Rachael has exhibited in various group shows and had her first solo exhibition at CUSP gallery this year. Presently, she is focusing on raising her young daughter and paints part time. Her work is represented in private collections.
