Catherine Veide

Lives in Adelaide . Initially trained as a nurse, drawing and painting for recreation. Then studied art for several years.  A special interest in horticulture, gardening and design led to her attaining a Diploma of Garden Design.  Botanical art has always been a great love and is an active member of the Friends of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide, Botanical Art Group.  Finalist in ‘The Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize’ 2004. Successful exhibitor in the 2004 ‘Art of Botanical Illustration’ Biennial Exhibition presented by the Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne.
