Dolores Skowronski Malloni

Dolores has taken part in the last seven exhibitions of The Art of Botanical Illustration, moving from traditional watercolour painting on paper to pen-ink and watercolour on drafting film, a technique that took her four years to develope, incorporating her keen eye to draw a botanicaly correct specimen of her choice together with contemporary design, creating a unique and new form of botanical illustration. In the 2004 exhibition Dolores' artwork sold together with artworks by Celia Rosser, Rita Parkinson and Helen Burrows, to an art collector in New York . In November 2005 Dolores was awarded a Silver Medal for her new technique, by the Royal Horticultural Society in London .
