Heather studied at the Preston Institute of Technology from 1973-1980 and at the Botanical Art School of Melbourne from 1995-2003. She has exhibited her work widely over the past twenty years and received the Diamond Valley Art Award in 1981. Her work is held in private collections and depicted in the 2003 National Trust Diary.
