Sandra Sanger

After graduating with an Associate Diploma of Art (Graphics) at Swinburne University of Technology, Sandra worked as a Graphic Artist. She has lectured in Drawing, Art and Design for 35 years at RMIT University in the Department of Fashion and Textile Design. Sandra joined Dianne Emery’s Botanical Illustration Class in the year 2000, after retiring from work. She enjoys working in a realistic and detailed way, and this subject area combines her interest in plant forms, rendering and watercolour. After attending “Illustration Plant Dissection” workshops conducted by Mali Moir, Sandra has developed a special interest in including microscopic details in her Botanical Studies. Sandra’s work is represented in private collections and the State Botanical Collection.
