John Pastoriza Piñol
Conveying the beauty and unique features of rare and unusual flora is the purpose of John’s botanical art. John’s work is represented in public collections including

John has been awarded: Silver, Silver Gilt and Gold medals for his art from the Royal Horticultural Society,

. This year John held his first solo exhibition at Ebury Galleries

, which was formally opened by the Australian High Commissioner, His Excellency the Honourable Richard Alston. Success and exposure from this exhibition has lead to a commission by H.R.H Prince Charles for the prestigious Highgrove Florilegium project, under the aegis of the Prince of Wales' Charitable Foundation. John currently teaches botanical art classes here in
Melbourne
; at the Geelong Botanic Gardens and occasionally at the Botanical Art School of Melbourne (under the direction of Jenny Phillips). John has exhibited in the Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition since 2002. John has had work commissioned by M & C Saatchi Pty Ltd, VicUrban, and more recently has produced images for the Wollemi Pine for the Curtis’ Botanical Magazine,
Kew
Gardens
. John currently acts as secretary for the Botanical Illustrators, Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens,
