Sue McLean

Sue was born in the U.K. and now resides in Australia . Sue’s love of the natural world has inspired her both spiritually and in her work as a gardener and knitwear designer. Her continued fascination with the natural world and Australian flora compels her to seek out and capture the divine beauty within her subject and portray that essence in her paintings.  Sue studied at the School of Colour & Design in Sydney , gaining a Visual Arts Diploma and two awards for Excellence. She has attended botanical art classes and workshops in Geelong Botanic Gardens. She has successfully exhibited in group and local shows and received several awards. Further afield, she participated in the 2006 Kirstenbosch Biennale Exhibition of botanical fine art held in Cape Town, South Africa and was awarded a bronze medal. Sue will be exhibiting at the Royal Horticultural Society, London Show in February 2007.
