Bernadette Lim

Bernadette developed her love for Botanical Art whilst at school in Hertfordshire , England , but put aside her passion for art to pursue her studies in Science at London University and the National University , Dublin graduating B.Sc. in biochemistry. She worked in biochemical research and later did a Fine Arts course (History of European Art) at Trinity College , Dublin . Bernadette joined Anita Barley’s Botanical Illustration classes at Burnley and later some classes with Jenny Phillips. She exhibited at the National Herbarium Victoria in 1992; Hamilton Gallery 1993; Eltham Wiregrass Gallery 1993; and hade her own solo exhibitions at Libby Edwards Gallery , South Yarra in 1993 and 1996.
