I started studying botanical art with Jenny Phillips and Fiona McKinnon at the Botanical Art School of Melbourne in 1999. Botanical illustration was an obvious choice because of my strong interest in gardening, plants and nature. Being particularly interested in Australian native flora I started with the newly formed group of painters at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne in February 2006. I have taken part in numerous exhibitions and some of my paintings are held in private collections.
