Margaret grew up in Horsham, spending much time in the Grampians which has left her a lasting love for the flora. Margaret gained her Diploma of Art, majoring in pottery, at RMIT in 1968. After teaching in secondary schools she worked as a studio potter, exhibiting in private and regional galleries. In 1998 she started botanical art which is now her main focus. Her work is included in the RBGC Collection and the Wilson Park Collection and has attracted several awards. Margaret is now coordinator of the Illustrators at RBG Cranbourne and teaches botanical art.
