Angela Harrison

From an early interest in Beatrix Potter’s lesser known studies of plants and fungi, rather than her better known association with rabbits, Angela Harrison has had a long attraction to botanical illustration. After learning graphic design at a Melbourne TAFE college, Angela continued her studies by attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Arts at Monash University , Melbourne . She has exhibited graphite drawings and porcelain tea bowls at The Tin Shed Gallery in Red Hill, The Meat Market in North Melbourne and the Melbourne Arts Fringe Festival at Cube 37 in Frankston. Angela has attended workshops and short courses in botanical illustration, and in recent years has been fortunate to study under the tutelage of respected botanical artist, Terry Napier.
