Alison Gianangeli commenced Botanical illustration class with Dianne Emery in 1998 following a long career as a lecturer at
R.M.I.T.
University
in Drawing and Design. She has successfully exhibited with the Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne Illustrator group since 1999. She is represented in private collections both in
Australia
and internationally and the State Botanical Collection. She was a recipient of an Honourable Mention Celia Rosser Award in 2004.
