Rhonda Favaloro

After drawing and painting for many years Rhonda was immediately attracted by the explanation of the importance of detail in Botanical Art. From that day on, Rhonda concentrate entirely on Botanical Art, studying at the Melbourne Botanical School of Art for 6 years. When her painting reached a professional standard Rhonda started, successfully, exhibiting her paintings. She has been represented in the Art of Botanical Illustration since 2000, in exhibitions at Villa Mulberry, South Yarra (including group of 6 Botanical Artists ; Woodbine Art Gallery , Malmsbury , Victoria ; The Mill Art Exhibition, Malmsberry; International Nurses Day, Operation Art Exhibition, North Melbourne ;Ballan Art Show (2005, 2006).  She has also been selected as a Finalist in the Australian Artist Magazine Challenge (Still Life and Florals, 2005) Other awards include a Highly Commended Award (2005, Ballan Art Exhibition) and the Judges Award for Best Painting in the Show (2006).
