Coming from a family of architects, Sue’s interest is art was fostered at an early age and continued throughout her schooling. A retired Primary School teacher, Sue commenced watercolour painting in 1990 attending many workshops with well-known Australian artists. She has exhibited successfully since this time and won prizes for her work. Sue began botanical painting with Dianne Emery two years ago and has enjoyed the discipline and precision required to accurately represent botanical specimens. She has exhibited botanical work in group shows. This is her first exhibition with the “Art of Botanical Illustration”.
