Deborah Bartlett

Debra Bartlett was born in England and lives in Mount Dandenong in the house that she designed and built with her husband.

She discovered her love of botanic art after studying Fine Art, majoring in Gold & Silversmithing at RMIT and attending Botanic Art classes with Edyta Hoxley and a microscope workshop with Mali Moir. After a successful 'first time out' in the 7th RBGM exhibition she is delighted to be exhibiting again this year. Last year Debra was fortunate to have been able to study part of the extensive Bauer collection at the British Natural History Museum as well as the Ashmolean Museum exhibition of 1,000 years of Botanical Art.

Debra has paintings, drawings and silverworks in private collections in Australia and the U.K. and photographs in both private and public collections.
