Ruth Walter
Ruth lives in Hamilton, Victoria and trained as a secondary school music teacher. She has had a life long interest in the arts and crafts and taught patchwork, quilting and embroidery for many years. Ruth began botanical painting in 1999 when she joined the Botanical Art School of Melbourne and has been taught by Jenny Phillips, Fiona McKinnon and Heather Rankin. She is particularly interested in painting Australian native plants.
