Marta Salamon

Marta has exhibited previously at the National Herbarium in 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000. She has also exhibited in group exhibitions at Eltham Wiregrass Gallery, Geelong Regional Gallery and Villa Mulberry. Her work was also represented in the National Trust Desk Diary 2001. Marta's knowledge of botanical art has been developed in classes with Jenny Phillips and previous studies in Fine Arts. While she has painted a range of native and exotic flora she finds herself increasingly drawn to plants which have clearly defined forms and structure and have an imposing presence, often because of their size.
