Kay Craig
Kay studied drawing for several years before beginning classes in botanical painting with Jenny Phillips at The Botanical Art School of Melbourne. She works from her studio and garden in the Dandenong Ranges and grows most of the plants which appear in her paintings. She has exhibited at The Art of Botanical Illustration exhibitions since 1994 as well as in many other venues throughout the state. In 1996 she accepted a major private commission for a series of paintings of Michelia and Mangletia species. Her work is represented in private collections in Australia and overseas.
