Bernadette Lim Bernadette developed her love for Botanical Art whilst at school in Hertfordshire, England, but put aside her passion for art to pursue her studies in Science at London University and the National University, Dublin graduating B.Sc. in biochemistry. She worked in biochemical research and later did a Fine Arts course (History of European Art) at Trinity College, Dublin. Bernadette joined Anita Barley's Botanical Illustration classes at Burnley and later some classes with Jenny Phillips. She exhibited at the National Herbarium Victoria in 1992; Hamilton Gallery 1993; Eltham Wiregrass Gallery 1993; and had her own solo exhibitions at Libby Edwards Gallery, South Yarra in 1993 and 1996. She has participated in The Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibitions from 1994 until the current one.
