Barbara Knight
Barbara had no formal art training before joining Jenny Phillips' Botanical Art School of Melbourne in 1996. A trained nurse by profession, Barbara has been interested in art all her adult life and was captivated in particular with Botanical art. In 1998 Barbara attended a master class with Anne-Marie Evans and began exhibiting her work at the Red Hill Art Show and the Art of Botanical Illustraiton. The following year she attended another master class with Anne-Marie Evans and exhibited at the Botanical Art School of Melbourne. In 2000 she again exhibited at The Art of Botanical Illustration exhibition and the Red Hill Art Show. Earlier this year Barbara exhibited with four watercolour artists at the Spectrum Gallery, Balwyn and attended a five day Master Class with Jenny Phillips.
