Andrew Seward

Andrew was born in Melbourne in 1967. He completed a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) at RMIT in 1991 and a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Melbourne in 1992. His work is represented in a number of Australian public collections including the National Gallery of Victoria and Monash University. Since 1990 Andrew has been involved in the development of 'Platform' - an innovative public art space at two busy Melbourne railway stations. In 2002 he received development funding to work at the Australian Council's London Studio and will be visiting Sri Lanka later this year to undertake an Asialink Visual Arts residency. Andrew is currently completing a drawing commission for The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew of Artocarpus altilis - breadfruit.
