Anita Barley

Anita worked as the Botanical Illustrator for Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens from 1977 to 1992. She began teaching botanical illustration at Burnley Horticultural College in 1986, and has also presented workshops for the Botanical Illustrators Group at the RBGM. Anita now lives at Woodend in country Victoria, and practises as a freelance botanical artist, contributing to many scientific publications including the Flora of Victoria, and to numerous exhibitions. She also accepts private commissions.
