Maurine Wrigley
Born and educated at St Arnaud, she trained as a nurse in
Melbourne
and then moved to
Geelong
to raise her family. Maurine is proficient in many mediums and is a life member of the Geelong Art Society. She exhibits regularly and her works hang in many private collections in
Australia
and overseas. Maurine paints still life, landscapes, and native flora and fauna. Her oil painting of Standley Chasm was awarded ‘Best in Show’ at
St Joseph
’s Art Show in
Geelong
, July 2004. Her passion for Australian flora has encouraged her to study botanical art with
