Helene Wild

A freelance botanical artist with an international reputation, Helene’s work adorns several ranges of commercial products. She is represented in the State Botanic Art Collection, the permanent collection of the Castlemaine Art Gallery and was commissioned by the City of Brimbank to paint indigenous flora of the basalt plains. She has won a swag of awards for her botanicalo watercolours and tonal drawings. In 1999, Helene was appointed Resident Artist to the Habitat Trust where she has been allocated space to showcase her work. Always looking for unusual subjects, for this exhibition Helene has drawn dried plant material.
