Ora taught art and textiles in secondary schools and had a special interest in tapestry and weaving. Upon retirement she renewed her lifelong desire for painting and, with her love of nature, she was led to study botanical art with Jenny Phillips, Anne-Marie Evans and Suzannah Blaxill.
Ora’s work has been part of several exhibitions, including the Geelong Botanical Exhibition and at exhibitions held at Eltham Wiregrass Gallery. Cranbourne Botanic Gardens and at the
