Gail began painting with Jenny Phillips and Fiona McKinnon in 1997. Plants and gardening have always been of great interest to her, and to be able to combine these two interests with painting has been a very happy experience. Her work has been published in the 2001 and 2003 National Trust Desk Diary and she has exhibited in the 2000 and 2002 ‘Art of Botanical Illustration’ exhibitions at the RBGM and at various other botanical exhibitions.
