James Hobill
Born in 1935 Jim has always been keen on drawing but it was not until retiring from a career in teaching that he took up botanical art. He has attended classes with the Geelong Art Society and the
Geelong
Botanical gardens
. He has held two successful exhibitions in
Geelong
and has exhibited at Angair the Anglesea and Aireys Inlet Society for the Protection of Flora and Fauna, where he was a prize winner. He works from his studio in
Geelong
and is a regular member of the Whirlybirds group at the RBGM.
