RBG Licensing 

The Royal Botanic Gardens' (RBG) licensing program offers design resources to select manufacturing and retail partners.  This program includes endorsement with the RBG brand, privileged access to the RBG’s archives and images for use on a range of commercial products.

The product development team works closely with licensees to assist them in navigating the RBG's scientific and botanical art collections, gain educational and scientific information from the RBG’s in-house experts and assist in translating these into commercial and marketable themes. 

The RBG’s licensees operate in a variety of product areas, including homewares, accessories, stationery and games. We continually review and develop new licensee relationships and retail partnerships, aiming to increase our range of licensed and branded merchandise and to encourage greater utilisation and knowledge of our collections.

All profits from the sale of RBG-branded merchandise assist the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne to advance the knowledge and enjoyment of plants,and to foster their conservation.
