Australian Made Products

The Gardens Shop has a policy that sets out to ensure they get the best possible products from as close to home as possible. It has a strong desire and moral obligation to support its local suppliers and manufacturers without compromising the integrity or quality of the product.

Wherever possible, the Gardens Shop chooses Australian based manufacturers/suppliers and has made a conscious effort to bring in more Australian made products and take on a more local approach to its product mix.

For example, the Shop has recently introduced a new range of high quality chopping boards made in Byron Bay, NSW; a beautiful range of pottery made by Australian artist Heather Shepherd; Australian made dog collars; and a new range of small gifts by Ark Art, which are all based on the native animal theme. There is also a new range of small Australiana wooden products called Australian Made Fun Gifts (made in Mornington, Victoria) which include high quality bookmarks, coasters, earrings and puzzles. Due to their compact size, these products are easy to transport interstate or overseas and are moderately priced between $10 and $30.
