Wayne Gebert is responsible for curating the vascular plant families at the National Herbarium of Victoria. His work involves databasing Australian and foreign-collected vascular plants, processing loans and exchange specimens, and assisting with MEL's integrated pest management program. Wayne is in his third year of Latin study at the Centre for Adult Education (CAE), Melbourne. He has assisted botanists with Latin descriptions and diagnoses for publication and has translated eponymies for the Correspondence of Ferdinand von Mueller Project.
