Explore Rainforest plants from Tasmania to Queensland in the Gardens' new Australian Forest Walk. This Walk features informative signage telling the story of our rainforest habitats, and highlighting the importance of conserving these precious areas.

Enjoy walking through out forest setting. Don't forget to look up and see the forest giants. Agathis, the giant Queensland Kauri, Toona Australis, the sensational Red Cedar. And many more. Look down and see gorgeous ferns and a large range of Australian forest shrubs, grasses and groundcovers.

1. Some plants are at risk of extinction in the wild from poaching and loss of habitat
2. Tough long-lived plants requiring little water once established 
   
3. Little care needed, prune off old, unsightly leaves

• The larger plants were planted in the 19^th century. The current collection was brought together  in the 1990's.
